Lettuce Patch Gardens
Lettuce Patch Gardens introduces a local effort to grow quality organic lettuce in the Cheyenne Cañon area. The site advocates the Slow Food concept and explores how local organic farms can help improve the environment.
To a large extent, the boom in the Slow Foods industry is a product of the information age. One of the primary reason for the decline in the American diet was growing distance from our food and lack of information about the growing process.
In the typical grocery store, the only information that we had was price and brand. The iinternet offers the ability to reconnect people with the local growing community.
