Sleep Shepherd

Well, back in my day people used to count sheep to go to sleep. The new generation has it all easy. There's now technology that will count the sheep for them.

Sleep Shepherd is a device that you put on your head that will monitor your sleep and can play sounds to enhance your sleep. It includes an alarm system that will gently wake you up.

The product is available on Amazon (see Amazon Ad to the right). The group has a kickstarter campaign for a device called SomniCloud.

Which reminds me—back in my day people were woken up abruptly by a loud bugle call and a Sargent who would throw a bucket of water on the face of anyone who tried to sleep through reveille ... dagnabbit.
